Es handelt sich um eine Ausstellung des VBM bei dem Cläre Casper und Amelie Riech Mitglieder sind. Wir richten uns mit der Ausstellung und den Workshops / Talks an alle Kulturschaffenden und Interessierten und versuchen mit positive Ansätzen Antworten auf aktuellen Problemen unserer Zeit zu finden.
Beschreibung USP
Es handelt sich bei allen ausgewählten Exponaten
um innovative, fortschrittliche Produkte, Designs und Konzepte. Wir stellen Designer vor, die einen ganzheitlichen Ansatz haben und sowohl in der Forschung als auch in der Ausführung Pioniere in Sachen Nachhaltigkeit und Zukunftsfähigkeit sind.

Konzeptbeschreibung
Exhibition MATERIAL MATTERS, planned for September 2021 in Berlin ( 9.09. -06.10.) at The Platte, Modehaus Berlin
With this exhibition we intend to create and spread awareness of the power of choice that designers, artists and makers have. We are collecting innovative, socially and environmentally-responsible design, art and fashion projects that are demonstrating a creative desire for sustainability and change. We want to show projects that turn waste into treasures through up cycling or converting waste materials into new materials and objects.
We are planning and up cycling workshop and installation on September 11 and 12, we will also hold a panel talk for which we invite activists, researchers and designers engaging in the field. We wish to engage and reach a wide audience of Berliners and those who work and are interested in culture and cultural change.
The workshop will be held by jewellery artist Denise Raytan and Fashion Designer Amelie Riech.
